Sarah (Douglas) Lindh ’05 graduated with highest honors and certification as an early childhood teacher. She achieved even higher honors with her first teaching job.
Lindh was so successful teaching “regular” kindergarten at Riverview Elementary in Silver Lake, that in only her second year on the job, her Kenosha County school district asked her to develop a new 4-year-old kindergarten program, districtwide.
Her UW-Green Bay mentor, Education Prof. Patricia Ragan, raves about Lindh’s leadership in developing “metacognitive process” in children, and notes there is now a waiting list for her 4K program.
Says Lindh, “ I love working with young kids. I want to create a passion for learning and make a difference in the future.”
