UW-Green Bay takes huge step forward with building plans Wednesday was a big day for UW-Green Bay with good news from the State Building Commission. The Commission endorsed construction funds for a $17.9 million renovation and expansion of UW-Green Bay's Laboratory Sciences Building. Although the project still needs final approval of the full Legislature and the governor, it is a high priority among UW System construction jobs endorsed Wednesday. Also gaining approval was authorization to use student fees to plan expansion of the University Union and the Phoenix Sports Center.
