Reminder: Kuepper farewell is Oct. 30

The campus community has an opportunity to bid farewell to Interim Chancellor William Kuepper and his wife, Jan, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 30). The reception takes place in the 1965 Room of the University Union. The Kueppers are returning to Colorado, where they lived before Bill was summoned back to bridge the gap between Mark Perkins's June 30 departure and the Nov. 1 arrival of new Chancellor Bruce Shepard. Kuepper's original Green Bay career stretched from his 1965 hiring to teach geography at the UW Center to his "first" retirement in 1995 as provost and vice chancellor emeritus.

Julie Curro, the new director of annual giving, says the ability to support academic enhancements appears to be an attractive aspect of the appeal. Again, the deadline for returning pledge forms to Julie Curro is Monday, Nov. 12.
