It's a record-setting year, by Curro's calculations

Advancement's Julie Curro reports that 207 employees donated to the 2002-03 Employee Drive, a 38 percent increase over last year's participation rate. The total contribution was $28,244 in cash received and pledged through payroll deductions. The average gift was $135.44 and eight employees made a continuous pledge commitment over a five-year period. Says Curro, "Thank you, contributing employees, for another record year. Your participation is making a difference!"

Tuesday is Election Day; get out and vote

The negative campaign ads may give people a convenient excuse to stay away from the polls Tuesday. But don't use that excuse. This is your chance to make a difference so take advantage of it and vote. Most polls in Brown County — including all the polls in the city of Green Bay — open at 7 a.m. Tuesday. All the polls in the county close at 8 p.m. Send a message that you care about what's happening in Washington and Madison. Vote in Tuesday's election!
