The day opens with the 8 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony for the impressively remodeled Laboratory Sciences Building, followed by continental breakfast in LS, and the always-popular Faculty/Staff Convocation at 9:30 a.m. over in the University Union. Kevin P. Reilly, the newly appointed president of the University of Wisconsin System, is traveling to Green Bay for the day. He'll pronounce the magic words, "This building is officially re-opened for learning!" at the LS re-dedication, and deliver a brief keynote address at the Convocation.
