Events Center campaign is not done yetUW-Green Bay is working to raise $10 million in private funds for the Kress Events Center. However, the $7.5 million mark is an important milestone because it enables the University to secure a matching $7.5 million from the state of Wisconsin, and move forward. Support from private donors and the state builds on the foundation laid by UW-Green Bay students, who have committed $15 million through higher fees.vailable, but the raffle was projected to raise several thousand dollars for Friends support of the Cofrin Library and its holdings, people and programs. * * * * *
Watch for more on brick/locker campaignsWhile solicitation of major gifts for the Kress Events Center continues, the "grass-roots" portion of the campaign is only beginning. UW-Green Bay alumni, Phoenix fans and University friends and family soon will be offered additional opportunities to participate through a combination bricks and/or locker sponsorship drive. Look for more in the February issue of Inside UW-Green Bay magazine. * * * * *
