Commencement call: inside, and two ceremonies

Saturday's UW-Green Bay Commencement will be held indoors, in two ceremonies, at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Chancellor Bruce Shepard announced the decision this morning after consultation with cabinet members, staff and (presumably) the weather bureau. The Chancellor is distributing an e-mail alert to all students. See below for specifics of interest to participants. Chancellor's message to students

With the prospect of a damp, cool, and windy Saturday morning, Chancellor Bruce Shepard has just informed students of the decision to move Saturday's Commencement indoors. Tickets (available at the Provost's Office) are still available, and, if need be, "overflow" video viewing will be available on monitors in the Weidner Center lobby. (A satellite site in the University Theatre is also possible.) The Chancellor directed students to seek more information at the existing Web page at http://www.uwgb.edu/commencement/guests/indoor.htm.
