You're invited! The big day has arrived, with the UW System Board of Regents making its once-every-seven-years official visit to Green Bay. Watch for updates in the LOG News as things progress throughout the day. All events listed here, including several with significant campus presentations, are of course open to the public, and members of the campus community are encouraged to attend, if possible.


Board of Regents schedule, Thursday and Friday, April 6-7

Thursday, April 6:

10:30 a.m. – Tour of UW-Green Bay campus with first stop at Academic Excellence Symposium, Winter Garden Lounge, Mary Ann Cofrin Hall.

11:30 a.m. – News conference in University Union, on a joint UW System-Wisconsin Technical College System effort to increase the number of Wisconsin citizens with bachelor's degrees.

1 p.m. – Regents Education Committee, Phoenix B&C (faculty/student/alumni presentation on "Connecting learning to life").

1 p.m. – Joint meeting of Business, Finance, and Audit Committee, Physical Planning and Funding Committee, Alumni Rooms A&B, University Union (presentation of UW-Green Bay Master Plan).

1:30 p.m. – Business, Finance, and Audit Committee reconvened, Alumni Rooms A&B, University Union (UW-Green Bay Growth Agenda presentation).

1:30 p.m. – Physical Planning and Funding Committee reconvened, Phoenix Room A, University Union.

Friday, April 7:

9 a.m. – Full Board of Regents meeting, Phoenix Rooms A,B and C, University Union (presentation by chancellor, community leaders on UW-Green Bay Growth Agenda).
