Final confirmation: Yes, power outage will be Saturday
It's "Plan A," as previously announced. The scheduled power outage affecting UW-Green Bay's central campus will proceed as scheduled, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Aug. 19). All academic buildings, the Weidner Center, and University Union will be locked down, without electricity. Facilities Director Chris Hatfield has just confirmed, after studying the weekend weather forecast, that Saturday remains the preferred choice for the electrical work and one-day disruption.
