Commencement news: It's indoors, at the Weidner
UW-Green Bay's spring commencement Saturday (May 13) will be held inside the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, Chancellor Bruce Shepard announced today. The move indoors means two ceremonies will be held, one starting at 11:30 a.m. and the other at 3 p.m. The chancellor made the call out of concern for the comfort of graduates and their guests. The weather forecast calls for continued chilly, wet weather — guaranteeing soggy grounds at the University's traditional outdoor commencement site. Additional information about the decision to move commencement indoors is available at http://www.uwgb.edu/univcomm/news/archive/2006may.htm#inside.

Reminder to platform party, faculty and staff
For the 11:30 a.m. ceremony: arrive by 10:45 a.m.; processional line forms at 11:15 a.m. For the 3 p.m. ceremony: arrive by 2:15 p.m.; processional line forms at 2:45 p.m. Any questions? For answers, click http://www.uwgb.edu/commencement/facstaff/.
