Temporary transformers have power back on at PSC
Christopher Hatfield, the new UW-Green Bay facilities director, offers an update on the power outage at the Phoenix Sports Center: Power has been restored, for now, with the loan of temporary transformers from Wisconsin Public Service. A preliminary report from the state of Wisconsin's testing consultant suggests the problem was probably not weather- or construction-related, but in any event, the failed transformer cannot be repaired and will have to be replaced.
