Shepard, Bothof offer statements on Borseth departure
It's official: The University of Michigan has announced today (Tuesday, April 10) that former Phoenix women's basketball coach Kevin Borseth has agreed to leave Green Bay to direct the Michigan program. Phoenix Athletics has posted a news release that recounts the phenomenal success UW-Green Bay enjoyed under Borseth over the past nine seasons. Athletics Director Ken Bothof has scheduled a news conference to share his thoughts on the departure for later this afternoon. Bothof and Chancellor Bruce Shepard have already issued written statements wishing Borseth well and thanking him for his service, available with the news release at http://uwgbathletics.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/spec-rel/041007aaa.html.
