Web site a focal point for remembrances of Founding Chancellor Weidner
Friends of UW-Green Bay and its Founding Chancellor, Dr. Edward W. Weidner, who passed away Wednesday in Green Bay at age 85, are invited to visit the University Web site that will function as a focal point for remembrances and reminiscence leading up to a "Celebration of his life" this Saturday (June 9) at the Weidner Center. Posted there as of 6 p.m. Wednesday were:
• A full obituary including service and memorial fund info;
• An initial photo gallery (much more to come);
• Links to newspaper coverage and community tributes;
• And an opportunity for one and all to share recollections of UWGB's founder.
