Phuture Phoenix photosTuesday, Oct. 10, was the first of two Phuture Phoenix days held on the UW-Green Bay campus in fall 2006. Approximately 1,000 local fifth-graders visited campus for tours, fun and reminders that higher education can be part of their future.

The opening program at the Weidner Center had the mood of an education pep rally, with the Phoenix Pep Band and cheerleaders on stage.
The music had 'em dancin' in the aisles.

More smiling faces in the crowd.
Applauding education — the message of the day.
