Regents hear UW-Green Bay story
UW-Green Bay Chancellor Bruce Shepard presents the region's case for a bigger
UW-Green Bay to a Regents subcommittee meeting Thursday afternoon (April
6) in the University Union. The meeting marked the formal unveiling of
the "Northeastern Wisconsin Growth Agenda for UW-Green Bay."
The Regents responded positively to the presentation.
Assistant Chancellor Dean Rodeheaver (standing) introduces UW System officials and Regents to the new
UW-Green Bay Master Plan, at another committee hearing Thursday afternoon. The presentation drew special praise
for its inclusion of student planners in the process and presentation. Rodeheaver was assisted by graduate students

Phoenix Room B&C was the setting for the Education Committee meeting.
A presentation on sexual-assault prevention opened the agenda. Waiting
their turn to present on UW-Green Bay's success in "Connecting Learning
to Life" were, seated from left, Profs Tim Kaufman and Andrew Kersten,
alumnus and Golden Apple award-winning teacher David Lamers, and Provost
Sue K. Hammersmith.
Regents and UW System officials listened intently to the UW-Green Bay
"Connecting" presentation at Thursday's Education Committee
