The Chancellor and other UW-Green Bay faculty and staff had a bit of fun volunteering in Brian Sutton's Advanced Nonfiction Writing Class. Students were asked to write instructions for a simple card game, and guests had to follow directions to "play," testing the technical writing skills of the students.

Bald is beautiful: This unofficial "Kevin Borseth Fan Club" (including a number of distinguished faculty members) donned special caps at a recent game as a quirky tribute to the popular women's basketball coach.

The NAS Scholarship Reception brought together faculty, donors and student recipients. Posing in "Moose Lodge" hat was Courtney Lewis (above), who received a $1,000 wildlife/environmental scholarship donated by the Moose Lodge Rod and Gun Club, represented by Rod Truttman. Photo: Wisconsin Public Service Corp. was designated the first-ever Recruitment Partner of the Year by Career Services.

Wisconsin Public Service Corp. was designated the first-ever "Recruitment Partner of the Year" by Career Services. A presentation was made by Assistant Chancellor Steve Swan at Career Services' annual Recruitment Update. The WPS recruitment "team" was presented a plaque and a desk clock in appreciation of participation in fairs and campus interviews, as well as serving on panels, responding to requests for speakers, speaking to student groups and classes, job shadow opportunities, internships and more.

Women's Basketball Alumni Day was special, as the Phoenix marks the final full season of play at the old Phoenix Sports Center. Confetti flew, speeches were made and founding Coach Carol Hammerle posed with former players.
