Kress Events Center concert is 'fan'tasticSwitchfoot, Relient K and Ruth played in front of a sold out Kress Events Center crowd Saturday, November 10. A fired-up but well-behaved crowd rocked-out to the bands' Appetite for Construction Tour. The concert went off without a hitch. Places everyone, the doors of the Kress Center are about to open. In the green shirts are more than 100 event volunteers.
Bobbie Jo Conradt and Sarah Beckman work the concert and celebrate later with backstage passes for their local Habitat for Humanity efforts. One dollar from each ticket sold on the tour is donated to Habitat.
How did they score front row on the floor? Arrive early. Very early.
From toddlers to grandparents filled the Kress Events Center, but most of the attendees were high school and college students.
Guest band "Ruth" gets the party started.
Relient K had a strong following in its own right.
