Catching a memory with a college-age "big sister." About 300 student volunteers, many of them first-generation college students themselves, assisted as mentors.
So long from Phuture Phoenix Day, Oct. 9, 2007! The friends here will likely see each other again; the program sends the mentors out to area classrooms for follow-up visits, and also offers "Phuture Phoenix Clubs" for middle schools in subsequent years.
