Top dogs in chili contest
That's floppy-eared Andy Stimpson (above, left), winner of the 15th annual UW-Green Bay Chili Cookoff. His "Wild Dog Chili" took first place among lunch-hour voters who sampled entries from across campus at the University Union on Feb. 4. Second place went to a pro, Executive Chef Gary Vail, for his "Traditional Pork Chili Verde." Third place was "Surplus Chili" from the Counseling and Health Center. Finishing out of the running in the taste-testing, but winning plenty of comments for their interesting server attire, were entries (see photos below) including the Library's Jeff Brunner and Adam Balz serving "Bookworm Chili," and the Dean of Students Office and "Demolition Chili."
