Commencement, December 2007 | page 3
Digital Camera Nation. Check out just a few of the graduates, their families — and cameras — in the crowded Weidner foyer immediately following the ceremony.
Prof. Ganga Nair offers congratulations to a graduating senior.
Graduating friends smile for the camera.
Another happy reaction, moments after crossing the stage.
The commencement speaker said something about "differentiating yourself" from the pack, didn't she? This communication graduate crossed stage exhibiting the day's most offbeat robing job. Most of the 300 or so graduates participating in the ceremony hewed to fairly traditional fashion.
Looking to meet up with family and friends in the Weidner Center lobby immediately following the ceremony.
Lynn Bellmore, honored as the top graduating senior of the mid-year class, poses with Karen Lacey, senior lecturer in Human Biology. In her acceptance speech, Bellmore had praised Lacey as a top-notch teacher and professional mentor.
Graduating class speaker Emily Krambs, left, received a degree in economics and, after the ceremony, the congratulations of a friend and fellow graduate at the commencement reception.
