UW-Green Bay 2007 spring commencement | page 2
Soon-to-be-graduates enjoy themselves prior to receiving their diplomas.
Saturday's graduates were part of UW-Green Bay's largest graduating class.
Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Sue Hammersmith, left, assists Chancellor Bruce Shepard in presenting the Chancellor's Award, UW-Green Bay's highest community honor, to Alyce and Bernie Dahlin.
Ann and Pat Murphy also received Chancellor's Awards for their service to UW-Green Bay and the community.
Paolo Del Bianco came from Florence, Italy to receive an honorary doctoral degree for his contributions to global peace and understanding. The foundation started by Del Bianco has strong ties to UW-Green Bay faculty and students.
Student commencement speaker Brittany Brunner of Shawano urged graduates to share their talents and passions with others.
Chancellor Shepard presented a certificate and gift bag to Stacey Kreitz, the 1000th recipient of a master's degree in UW-Green Bay history.
