Novak, leading conservative author,
talks about 'Washington's God'
Michael Novak, a prominent scholar on religion, philosophy and public policy, visited UW-Green Bay on Thursday, April 19 to discuss his new book, Washington's God. The book offers the first in-depth look at the religious life of George Washington. Novak, the George Frederick Jewett Scholar in Religion, Philosophy and Public Policy at the American Enterprise Institute, spoke on campus as part of the Historical Perspectives Lecture Series. Novak has written 25 influential books on the philosophy and theology of culture.
Prof. Harvey Kaye, director of UW-Green Bay's Center for History and Social Change, was Novak's host during his visit to Green Bay.
