Reflections from the Founding Chancellor The Academic Plan, Part 1 The Academic Plan, Part II The Campus Look The Future In November 2004, at the age of 83, UW-Green Bay Founding Chancellor Edward W. Weidner sat down for a studio interview. In it, he reflected on four decades of UWGB history -- including his initial inclination in 1966 to decline the chancellor's job, and his vivid memories of the school's earliest days when it created a national sensation as an innovative, experimenting university. The interview was conducted by Weidner's former public relations adviser, then-News Bureau director Betty Brown, and produced by a UW-Green Bay television production class. |
