Committee Charge
The charge of the University Planning Committee will be:
- To promote an integrated planning model in which UWGB’s academic plan drives planning across the institution.
- To promote open communication and transparency about planning information, issues, priorities, and activities.
- To provide a comprehensive strategic plan within which units and divisions can develop their annual operational plans and budgets and within which units and divisions can respond to unanticipated opportunities or challenges.
- To monitor and evaluate progress at the divisional and institutional levels, with appropriate planning revisions to promote ongoing improvements in programmatic and institutional quality and effectiveness.
- To evaluate, after three years, the effectiveness of the UPC and to recommend any changes or revisions needed in either the committee or the planning process.
The University Planning Committee will operate under principles previously adopted by the Academic Affairs Planning Committee. The Committee and the Chancellor will review this planning process after three years to recommend continuation, modification, or further improvements in the planning process.
