Voyageur has a circulation each issue of about 5,000 copies and a total readership double that, or 10,000 people per issue. Since the nonprofit Voyageur publishes each June and December, each advertisement is current for six months. Subscription copies go to thousands of homes, businesses, waiting rooms, reception areas, libraries, schools and other locations. Additional copies of each issue are sold at selected newsstands, bookstores, shops, museums and other outlets in Wisconsin and at 40 sales booths each year at community events and conventions throughout Northeast Wisconsin and elsewhere in the state.

Each issue of Voyageur is glossy-coated and 64 pages in length with high-quality reproduction. Page size is the standard 8.5 x 11 inches. Advertisements can be camera-ready or Voyageur's design staff can compose ads. There is no composition fee for camera-ready or repeat Voyageur ads. There is a $25.00 composition fee for Voyageur to make changes to an existing Voyageur ad, and a $50.00 composition fee for Voyageur to compose a new Voyageur ad.
