How to Connect Your Web Share

Connecting to your Web share is like connecting to any network share. Follow the steps below for the type of operating system you are using.

Windows

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Choose 'Tools' from the menu bar.
3. Choose 'Map Network Drive'.
4. Map Network Drive will open.
5. In the 'Drive' box choose any letter that is not currently used.
6. In the 'Folder' box enter the path to your Web share. The path needs to contain the Web server name, which is weba, and the name of the share.
   Example: \\weba\sharename$
7. Check the 'Reconnect at logon' box. This will make sure that your Web share will connect each time you log into the network.
8. Click 'Finish'.

Macintosh

1. On the 'Finder' bar choose 'Go'
2. Choose 'Connect to Server'
3. In the Server Address box enter
   smb://weba/webshare$
4. Click connect.
5. To save it for future reference click the + button.
6. You need to connect your share each time you wish to use it.
