De Vorse, Beverly Jean:
Her father was born in DePere, her mother in Green Bay. Her mother's family name
was Briquelet, and she was also related to Dousman. Both were of French descent,
but neither spoke French. However, her mother always insisted on the French
spelling of the family name. From her childhood, she remembers a stone on the hill
behind the Mitchell Park Domes which had been placed there by Vieaux.
