FIRST GENERATION

1.  Laurent VENET1.  

He was married to Francoise MASSON in Notre-Dame-de-Cogne, district and
bishropric of La Rochelle, Charente, Maritime (formerly Aunis).1  Laurent
VENET and Francoise MASSON had the following children:

SECOND GENERATION

2.  Rene VENET1 was born in 1694 in Notre-Dame-de-Cogne, district and
bishropric of La Rochelle, Charente, Maritime (formerly Aunis).1,2  He
owned Land grant located at St. Charles Rd. by the Seminary de St. Sulpice
de Montreal. on 28 Jun 1723 in Ile de Montreal, Quebec.3  Land granted by
the Lord owners of the Montreal Island.  He and Marguerite Bigras, his
wife, sold the land to Pierre Barbary dit Grandmaison of Point Claire, Ile
de Montreal on 9 November 1726 (Notary: P. Raimbault 1697-1727).

Lease of land (on 28 April  1750) located at the Ste-Marie suburb by
 Marie-Anne Mogue, widow of Pierre Garreau dit Xainctonge (Saintonge),
 of   the Ste-Marie suburb near the town of Montreal, to Rene Venet, labourer,

He was a Livestock Keeper on 25 Apr 1752 in St. Pierre River near Montreal,
Quebec.3  Hired as a livestock keeper by Augustin Denis, farmer, from the

SIXTH GENERATION

23.  Etienne LOISELLE was born on 28 Jan 1832 in St. Joachim of Chateauguay
(Quebec).1  He died on 19 Feb 1916 in Holcombe, Wisconsin.13  Etienne
Loiselle: born January 28, 1832 at St. Joachim of Chateauguay, Etienne
Parant (Godfather), Magdeleine Richard (Godmother), baptized January 29,
1832 by P. Grenier (Priest), died February 19, 1916 at Holcombe, Wisconsin,
married (Rock Island, Illinois - October 28, 1857) Florence Roberts,born
(obituary says February 25, 1821, tombstone says Febuary 25, 1841, and
death certificate says March 25, 1841) at Plattburg, New York, daughter of
?, died July 29, 1898 at Boyd, Wisconsin.

Etienne (Stephen) lived in St. Philomene of Chateauguay until he was 14
years of age.  From then until he was 23 years old,  he worked up the
Quebec River lumbering.  In 1854 he moved to Rock Island, Illinois where he
married Florence Roberts.  Miss Florence Roberts was born in Plattburg, New
York.  She lived there until the summer of 1855 when her family moved to
Rock Island, Illinois.

On October 28, 1857, under the rights of the Catholic Church, Etienne
(Stephen) Loiselle and Florence Roberts were married.  They stayed here
until 1861.  Hearing of the riche laurels to be obtained in the frontier,
they left for northern Wisconsin on a steamboat named Monitor on June 28,
1861.  They arrived in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on July 4, 1861.

They stayed with a friend by the name of Bourneillier, in Chippewa Falls,
Wisconsin a short time.  They then  built there own home.  Later they moved
to Gravel Island, Wisconsin where they stayed until 1875.  In 1875 they
moved to
 Lafayette, Wisconsin (Paul Guyon farm). 
 In 1877 they sold this
place and moved onto a homestead at 
Paint Creek.  From here they moved back
to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin where they 
remained until 1893.  

In 1893 they moved to California.   During the winter of 1894 they returned
to Boyd, Wisconsin where they lived until she died on July 29, 1898.  He
then resided with his daughter at Holcombe, Wisconsin until he died on
February 19, 1916.  


He was married to Florence ROBERTS (daughter of Peter ROBERTS and Mary
UNKNOWN) on 28 Oct 1857 in Rock Island, Illinois.13  Florence ROBERTS14 was
born on 25 Feb 1841 in Plattsburgh, New York.15  The obituary says February
25, 1821, the tombstone says February 25, 1841, and the death certificate
says March 25, 1841.  She died on 29 Jul 1898 in Boyd, Wisconsin.16

June 25, 1915 in Lisco, Nebraska (in a root cellar during a tornado), died
December 29, 1979 in Milford, Michigan, married Erma C. Oestreich. She was
the daughter of Walter Oestreich and Theresa Mae Sweet and was born
February 19, 1917 in Park Falls, Wisconsin.  She died October 5, 1995 in
Manor, Texas, in Park Falls, Wisconsin on October 16, 1937.	

Virgil and Erma Loiselle moved from Park Falls, Wisconsin to
Marshfield,Wisconsin where they had a small restaurant.  In 1942 they moved
toMilwaukee, Wisconsin where Larry was born.  In 1943 they returned to Park
Falls, Wisconsin where Erma stayed while Virgil joined the Navy (Seabees)
and went to World War II (Pacific - Saipan).  After the war he return to
Park Falls, Wisconsin.  In 1948 he went back into the Navy.  They moved to
Saint Paul, Minnesota; to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and to Shakopee,
Minnesota.  In 1952 Virgil transferred to the U.S. Air Force and they moved
to Kansas City, Missouri. In 1953 they moved to Langsburg, Germany and
early in 1954 to Ramstein AFB, Germany.  In February 1957 they moved to
Paine AFB (Everett, Washington). In late 1960 they moved to Taipei, Taiwan
where they were until August 1962 when they moved to Kincheloe AFB
(Rudyard, Michigan).  In 1964 they moved to Ent AFB (Colorado Springs,
Colorado).  In 1966 Virgil retired from a distinguished career in the U.S.
Air Force as a CWO-4.  They moved to Houghton, Michigan where they lived
until 1967 (Manager of the Union Cafeteria at Michigan Technological
University). In 1967 he became a Manager for Profit Foods in Chicago,
Illinois and they moved to Wheeling, Illinois.  In 1969 they moved to
Drayton Plains, Michigan where he was a Manager for Sabo Food Service.  In
1972 they moved to Milford, Michigan and he was the Manager at the Oakland
County cafeteria and later the Manager at the Union Cafeteria at Oakland
Community College.  He semi-retired again in 1979, but did part-time work
at a local elementary school as a lunch monitor.  He died on 29 December
1979.


He was married to Erma Clara OESTREICH (daughter of Walter Julius OESTREICH
and Theresa Mae SWEET) on 16 Oct 1937 in Park Falls, Wisconsin.21  Erma
Clara OESTREICH was born on 19 Feb 1917 in Park Falls, Wisconsin.21  She
died on 5 Oct 1995 in Manor, Texas.21  Virgil Willus LOISELLE and Erma
Clara OESTREICH had the following children:
