This is a collaborative project to commemorate the history and continued presence of French and Francophone people in the State of Wisconsin. The project began in the spring of 1997 and will continue through 1998, the State's 150th anniversary.

If you have research or family stories that you would lilke to contribute to Wisconsin's French Connections, please let us know. Some Practical Guidelines for submitting documents and photographs are available. This Web site will become a repository of information on the many ways in which French-speaking people from France, Canada, Acadia, Belgium, Haiti, Africa, Switzerland, Luxembourg and other francophone countries have left their mark on Wisconsin.
