Stefan teaches Medieval literature and humanities. He publishes on a wide variety of medieval topics, especially Scottish and Scandinavian studies. He is also an accomplished musician, primarily on the guitar.

Education

B.A., Austin Peay; M.A., Ph.D., Saint Louis University

Stefan Thomas Hall received his B.A. from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO and is currently Associate Professor of Humanistic Studies and English at the University of Wisconsin--Green Bay, specializing in Anglo-Saxon, Middle-English, Arthurian, Scottish, and Scandinavian literature of the Medieval period.

Hall has been playing guitar for more than three decades and has composed numerous jazz and classical pieces. He plays regularly with the UWGB Faculty Jazz Ensemble and is a member of the gypsy jazz ensemble Gypsy Trip.
