Dr. Sallmann has co-authored articles on the needs and experiences of women who have histories of trauma and co-occurring mental health and substance use problems. Her research interests focus on the lived experiences of prostitution-involved women and their relations with service providers.
Education: PhD in Social Welfare (University of Wisconsin-Madison), BSW and MSW (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee)
