Student Satellite Payload Summer InternshipA student-driven program that launches and retrieves payloads from a high-altitude balloon that will ascend up to 100,000 feet - altitudes used by NASA as Mars analogues and considered to be the "edge of space." The design team designs and builds science experiments to fly in this environment, assists in the launch of the satellite, tracks and chases the balloon as it traverses, retrieves it upon landing, and analyzes the resulting data. |
