UW-Green Bay is committed to the Wisconsin Idea. As a regional university, we are particularly committed to working with Northeastern Wisconsin’s local governments, communities, and businesses to support our region’s continued economic and cultural growth.

We support you as you strive to attain your academic and professional goals, including the pursuit of professional licensure. If your career path requires a professional license or certification and you intend to work in Wisconsin, please review the UW-Green Bay Wisconsin State Licensure Guidance.

Professional Licensure in Other States

UW-Green Bay recognizes that our Phoenix family soars from coast to coast. Whether you complete your degree from a distance or move out of state after you graduate, a UW-Green Bay degree may meet professional licensure requirements. The State Licensure Guidance (hyperlink to page – see information below) provides information on our programs and their alignment to state-specific licensure requirements.

Pre-Professional Studies

UW-Green Bay offers a variety of academic programs. Many of our emphases are gateways to graduate and advanced degrees required of specific professions. Students can focus their studies to prepare for continued studies in Dietetics, Engineering, Health Sciences, Law, Military Science, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine. We would encourage students interested in these programs to work with their academic advisors throughout their studies at UW-Green Bay.
