Choosing A Major

This is a Big Decision

and we have help if you need it! You may come to college with a general idea of what you would like to major in (many students do), but once you start taking classes at UW-Green Bay you may discover other interests. If you don’t have a major picked out yet, it’s okay. The first few semesters you will be advised to take general education courses. These courses will be the foundation for your eventual major/minor. Our Career Services Office has advisers who can also help you explore different career options. There is even a class you can take for college credit to help you discover which major might fit you best.
