Helping Professions Open House


Join us for a visit focused on UW-Green Bay’s many options for students interested in helping professions. You can learn about programs including Nursing and Health Professions, Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Human Biology and Health Sciences, and Education. The open house-style event will include meetings with faculty and staff, a resource fair, and campus tours.

Friday, February 15
12:30 p.m. – Resource fair featuring majors and campus resources
1:00 p.m. - Welcome and Overview
1:15 p.m. – Breakout session #1
1:50 p.m. – Breakout session #2
2:30 p.m. – Optional campus tours

What to Expect

Questions you might have about college, we will supply the rest—academic information, personal advising, AP/IB credit info, and a full view of UW-Green Bay. While you are in the city of Green Bay, you might consider planning some additional outings in the area. Explore UW-Green Bay.


Driving and Parking
You will be looking for the Student Services Building. We know it can be slightly difficult to know where you are on campus so we have UW-Green Bay Maps to guide you to your destination and Google Maps will help you get where you need to go or we have detailed instructions on how to route.
Dining
Green Bay is home to some fantastic restaurants. Our recommendations would be Titletown Brewing CompanyKroll's1919 Kitchen and Tap, Gippers, or El Sarape.
Green Bay's Must-Sees

Lodging
If you are looking for a place to stay try out Country Inn and SuitesHawthorn Suites, or other great hotels in the area. Be sure to look if a Packer game is occurring as rates will be increased.
