Course Description
Harm reduction incorporates a spectrum of evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies from safer use, to managed use, to abstinence to meet individuals engaged in high-risk behavior “where they're at” and addressing symptoms along with diagnoses themselves. Learners will engage in five components during this 4-hour, virtual training including introduction to harm reduction, implementing harm reduction strategies, and navigating conversations on access to lethal means.
About Your Trainer
Myranda Green, LLMSW
Myranda holds a Bachelor’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s degree in social work from Western Michigan University. She has extensive experience developing and managing crisis services systems, making her a vital member of TBD Solutions Clinical and Crisis Services team. Myranda also brings leadership skills and a passion for developing relationships to her consultant role.
