Mike Bloedorn

Mike Bloedorn, MSW, LCSW, began college courses at UW-Green Bay and received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the UW-Madison and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan.  Michael spent his entire professional career of 40+ years in Washington County in Southeastern Wisconsin, holding positions as a Social Worker, Supervisor, Deputy Director and Director prior to his retirement in 2012. His interest and experience is in the child welfare field, including Child Protective Services and Juvenile Justice work.  In 2010, he received the "Real Heroes" award from the local American Red Cross Chapter for his commitment to the community.  Michael provided Ethics and Boundaries Training for Paraprofessionals working with the elderly from Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, and Milwaukee Counties, and led the county Human Service work groups on the development of "best practices" for professional behavior within the work setting.
