Northeast Regional Crisis Grant Trainings

In 2014, UW-Green Bay/Behavioral Health Training Partnership was awarded the Collaborative Crisis Intervention Services for Youth (CCISY) Grant for the Northeast Region of Wisconsin. Included in this regional grant are the following counties: Brown, Calumet, Door, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago.

The purpose of the grant is to expand and improve crisis and other behavioral health resources to youth who experiencing a crisis and/or at risk for suicide. The goals include the extension of the service array for youth and families, enhancing linkages to partners who serve youth in the community, improving suicide prevention efforts, enhancing person-centered, strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to youth and families, and enhancing cultural competence and expansion of services to meet the needs of diverse cultures within the region.

We are excited to offer both agency-specific and regional training opportunities during our last year of the grant (through June 30, 2022).  We encourage counties to invite their collaborative partners within the community to attend, to promote teaming and interdisciplinary care (e.g. School staff, Law Enforcement, Child Welfare).  These trainings are limited to only the counties in the northeast region (see above).

There is no charge to attend the virtual sessions and a fee of $25 to attend the in-person sessions.  Materials will be provided for all sessions, with lunch being provided for the in-person sessions.  Please do not register if you are not employed by or invited by one of the counties listed above (one of the 16 NE Region counties participating in this grant).  If you have any questions, please email Jessica Delzer at delzerj@uwgb.edu.
