If selecting Records, allow 2-3 minutes for records to be returned (for common species). For fastest results, use Internet Explorer rather than Netscape browser.

Records include the following fields: Species, County, Quad, Block, Observation Date, Breeding Code, Habitat Code, Abundance Code, Verification, Observer, Card Number.

If the record has a V in the Verification field, the observer provided additional details about the record; information from the verification form is included in the Comments section.

For Marked Records: if the record has an M in the M field or a Q in the Q field, the record was deemed invalid (by the Regional Coordinator or Quality Control Chair) and is not included in any analyses or distribution maps. If the record has a D in the Q field, the observation date was considered questionable considering the breeding code and the record is not included in the breeding phenology chart on the species summary datasheet but is included in other analyses and on the distribution map.

Comments include the following fields: Species, County, Quad, Block, Observer, Card Number. Comments were entered from field cards, casual forms, and verification forms.
