Ryan Kauth is an associate lecturer in entrepreneurship for the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay and is Director of the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay. He received his B.S. from UW-Green Bay and M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Kauth is currently teaching Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management and has taught since 2007 in marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior to joining UW-Green Bay, he spent several years in manufacturing, ten years as a small business consultant, and five years in business banking at community business banks in Northeast Wisconsin. He utilizes these years of experience to bring regional, state, and international examples into his classroom.
In terms of service, Mr. Kauth is on the board of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA), Shoreline Credit Union, the American Marketing Association Northeast Wisconsin (AMA NEW) chapter, the Two Rivers Business Association (TRBA) and serves on committees for Two Rivers Main Street and The Chamber Manitowoc County. He has been a judge in the Northeast Wisconsin Business Plan Contest, the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest. and the Wisconsin YES! business plan contest. He has also served the Lakeshore Business Assistance Alliance, the Sheboygan County Chamber, several area economic development organizations, and three area YPNs (young professionals networks): Current, Sail, and Coastal as well as the annual regional YPN leaderfest event.
