Scholarships and Awards

Several scholarships or awards are offered to business administration and accounting students annually. Offerings vary each year. Each spring, scholarship offerings will be posted on this website with application criteria and forms. Students are also notified via email as scholarships are available.

Additional scholarships for business and accounting students may be available through the Financial Aid Office.

In the past, support has been awarded to Business Administration and/or accounting majors by the following organizations. (Criteria subject to change. See application forms for current eligibility requirements.)

 

Bill and Pat Larsen Endowed Scholarship for Business and Accounting

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is pursuing a major in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Has a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Danny Schulz Endowed Accounting Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a fulltime enrolled undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is majoring in Accounting
  • Is a Junior or Senior at the time of scholarship dispersal

Preference in selection of scholarship recipients is given to students who, at the time of application:

  • Show community and campus involvement
  • Demonstrate financial need

Danny Schulz and Casie Rindfleisch-Schulz Accounting Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a full time enrolled student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is majoring in Accounting
  • Is a Junior or Senior at the time of scholarship dispersal

Preference in selection of scholarship recipients is given to students who, at the time of application:

  • Show community and campus involvement
  • Demonstrate financial need

Danny Schulz and Casie Rindfleisch-Schulz Business Administration Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a full time enrolled student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is majoring in Business Administration
  • Is a Junior or Senior at the time of scholarship dispersal

Preference in selection of scholarship recipients is given to students who, at the time of application:

  • Show community and campus involvement
  • Demonstrate financial need

Prast Family Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Has graduated from a Brown County, Wisconsin, high school.
  • Is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay. If one or more semester of courses has been completed at UW-Green Bay, must have a cumulative grade point average at UW-Green Bay of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent.
  • Is pursuing a major in Business Administration at UW-Green Bay.
  • Is pursuing a minor in Music, Arts or Humanistic Studies, or has participated in one of the performance options available through the UW-Green Bay music program (choir, Pep Band, ensembles, etc.)
  • Demonstrates financial need, as determined by the U.S. Department of Education’s Federal Needs Analysis or qualification for a Wisconsin Higher Education Grant (WHEG) award.

Karl Zehms Scholarship in Accounting

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a full time enrolled student majoring in Accounting
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Is a Junior or Senior at the time of scholarship dispersal

Kendle Family Business Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a new or continuing full time undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is a declared Business Administration major
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Is a Junior or Senior at time of scholarship dispersal
  • Has demonstrated a strong record of activity outside of the classroom in areas such as community service, volunteerism, etc.

Philip J. Hendrickson Business Scholarship

Awarded to students who:

  • Are new or continuing students who are declared Business Administration majors at UW-Green Bay
  • Are in good academic standing
  • Have distinguished themselves as the very best candidates for professional success in the business world in the opinion of the selection committee
  • Have documented examples of leadership skills and experience

Micksch Family Business Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a full time undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is a declared Business Administration major
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Has completed at least 24 credits at UW-Green Bay at the time of scholarship dispersal

The Northeast Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) Award

Awarded to students who:

  • Are full time U.W. Green Bay students, majoring either in Accounting or Business Administration with a Finance emphasis.
  • Are able to attend April 16th evening awards presentation.

Tax Executives Institute Scholarship—Northeast Wisconsin Chapter

Awarded to a student who:

  • Resides in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student with at least one semester remaining before graduating from UW-Green Bay.
  • Is pursuing a major or minor in the business program at UW-Green Bay and has successfully completed an introductory level tax course (e.g. ACCTG 410, Introduction to Income Tax Theory and Practice) Students currently in this course are eligible to apply.
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Has demonstrated a high level of achievement through academic and extracurricular activities.

Wipfli Annual Scholarship in Accounting

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is pursuing a major in Accounting
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Has successfully completed Advanced Financial Accounting I
  • Is a Junior or Senior at time of scholarship dispersal

Philip Flynn and LoisGrace Golde Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is pursuing a major or minor in Accounting or Business Administration

Preference will be given to students who have excelled academically and have demonstrated leadership qualities.

Diane and Patrick Ford Family Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Has graduated from a Wisconsin high school
  • Is enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is pursuing a major in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Has a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Wisconsin Institute of CPAs Educational Foundation’s "Student Ambassador Program"

The Student Ambassador will aid in promoting the Accounting major on our campus.
Preference in selection of scholarship recipients is given to students who, at the time of application

  • Demonstrate an interest in Taxation; and
  • Demonstrate an effort to provide for their own educational costs, participate in volunteer activities, and/or face life challenges.

Humana Scholarship

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a full time enrolled undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is majoring in Business Administration or Accounting
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale

Schober Family Endowed Scholarship for Business

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a full time undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Has an earned cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Is a declared Business Administration or Accounting major

Preference will be given to students pursuing a Business Administration major with an emphasis in Human Resources Management.

Bob and Carrie Arnold Endowed Scholarship in Business

Awarded to a student who:

  • Is a full time undergraduate student at UW-Green Bay
  • Is a declared Business Administration or Accounting major
