Illene Cupit

Professor Illene Noppe Cupit received her Ph.D. in 1979 from the Educational Psychology Department of Temple University. Dr. Cupit came to UW-Green Bay in January of 1984, where she currently teaches courses in Dying, Death, and Loss, First Year Seminars, Gender Development, and Developmental Research Methodology.

She is an active member of the Association of Death Education and Counseling (ADEC), where she was editor of The Forum, its quarterly publication, and was the President for 2012 - 2013.

Jennifer Lanter

Jennifer Lanter

Jennifer Lanter is the Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning. After earning a B.S. in psychology at the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D. is psychology and cognitive science at Indiana University, she became an Assistant Professor in the Human Development and Psychology Departments at UWGB. In 2012 she was promoted to Associate Professor.

Dr. Lanter teaches courses in Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Infancy and Early Childhood and a First Year Seminar on Children’s Television. She is an active researcher in the field of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, including having completed two years as a UWGB Teaching Scholar. Dr. Lanter is also the Director of the Language Learning Lab on campus.

Joanne Dolan is the Instructional Design Coordinator for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay

She has three years' experience of online education from all perspectives - student, faculty, faculty consultant and administrator, and strongly believes in the effectiveness and power of well-designed and well-taught online education.
