Dr. Vespia is a counseling psychologist who teaches classes related to psychopathology, psychotherapy, and human diversity. She has research interests in college student mental health, the intersection of culture and mental health, career development, and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). In addition to her work as a Psychology faculty member, she has been the Director of the UWGB Teaching Scholars Program within the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and twice served as the Interim Director of CATL itself.
