The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning seeks a pilot group who are interested in doing peer observations of teaching. These reviews are formative and the goal is to provide support and collegial guidance for those who would like feedback from their peers. Best practices suggest that reviews are most effective when done holistically, as part of a give-and-take between equals in which the reviewers understand the context of the lessons they observe and how they fit into the flow of the course.
