Application and Registration Process

The student application process is facilitated by the UW-Green Bay CCIHS Program Specialist in conjunction with the high school CCIHS instructor. An application does not obligate a student to take a course; it sets up the student in UWGB's system for potential registration.

  • Online Application (Students Apply First!)
    • UW-Green Bay student applications are completed preferably in the spring of each year for classes that will start in Fall. CCIHS instructors will be provided with a copy of Online Application Instructions. The instructions can also be found the CCIHS application page.  This document will assist them in completing the required information needed during the online application process.
  • Registration / Student Orientation And Registration (SOAR) Visit (Then Register for the Course!)
    • At the start of the school year, CCIHS staff will work with the CCIHS instructor to arrange a visit to the school to register students for the course. If there are any students during the visit  who decide to take their course for college credit, at that time they can complete an application and register.

Tuition & Payment

  • Once a student has submitted a registration form, an obligation to pay tuition is in effect. We encourage our CCIHS instructors to communicate to their students enrolled for college credit the following information:
    • Tuition Amount Due:
    • Check made payable to:
    • Due to the school by:
    • Payment turned in to: (e.g. instructor / school office)
  • When student registration is final, and the class roster verified, an invoice for the tuition owed will be sent by the UW-Green Bay Billing Office to the appropriate high school official.

Course Drop Deadline*

  • Please contact the CCIHS office immediately if any student decides they want to drop the course and not complete it for college credit. The drop deadline date is given during registration. Although a student may be able to drop the course, the student remains obligated to pay the tuition. Their student record will show they dropped the course.
  • *Note: Failure to notify our office can result in a grade of an “F” being issues on the student’s permanent college transcript. All course grades earned will become part of a student’s permanent college record.

Course Syllabi

  • Your approved course syllabus needs to be submitted to the CCIHS department each year. A copy of your syllabus will be posted on the UW-Green Bay College Credit in High School website until the next high school year. This allows your student to not only have online access to the syllabus throughout the course of the year, but also in the event a student needs to provide information about the course they took to a potential college.

Course Evaluations

  • Course evaluations are completed by students at the end of the course. Prior to the end of your course, you will receive an email from the CCIHS Program Specialist that will contain a link to the evaluation for your course. This link should be provided to your students. Please have your student fill out the online evaluation during class time to ensure 100% completion. Evaluations are then computer scored, comments are compiled and the final evaluation will be sent to you. In addition, a copy of the evaluation is sent to the corresponding UW-Green Bay department chair and liaison. Evaluations are not released to anyone else without an instructor’s permission.
