VIRTUAL TRAINING leading to Certificate

Register for any upcoming session, or enroll in all of them for the Certificate. This series of five virtual half-day trainings will make it possible for you to pursue your fullest potential in the nonprofit world. The sessions cover key essentials for nonprofits and are taught by instructors who have real-world knowledge and experience.‚Äč Pre-reading, Discussion board, and Online Resources are part of the sessions.

Custom Training and Support

Custom Training and Support   UW-Madison Extension Brown County offers affordable custom training and support services for nonprofit organizations primarily in Brown County. Training and support are offered at a time and place that works best for the organization. 

Nonprofit Leader Virtual Conversations

FREE virtual small group conversations for nonprofit leaders on the pressing management issues of today.

Student Interns

UW-Green Bay students pursuing undergraduate certificates or degrees complete 150 hour internships in local organizations. Organizations interested in having a project completed or adding an additional staff, please consider offering an internship to a well-prepared student.  If you are considering supervising a UWGB student intern, please develop an informal project or job description and then contact one of our faculty to inquire. 

Online undergraduate programs

Online Nonprofit Management Certificate program. This five course, 18 credit sequence, along with an internship, enables students to become certified in core skills of an effective nonprofit manager. Our students complete internships for local nonprofit organizations where they apply the skills they are learning in marketing, fundraising, program evaluation and more. 
Online Public Administration undergraduate degree program. With emphases in Public/Nonprofit Management or Emergency Management, this major is suitable for returning adults who are pursuing their B.S. degree (with transfer credit available). Nonprofit managers can take courses in fundraising/marketing, program evaluation, management, and more while also obtaining the Certificate (above).
Online Organizational Leadership undergraduate degree program. With a 60 credit block transfer for those who have a two year degree, this major includes five core classes in leadership with a choice of 8 applied areas of emphasis, including public/nonprofit management (students earn the Nonprofit Certificate), health care management, and emergency management.
