and Technical Assistance
The Center serves the community by collaborating with public and nonprofit organizations to conduct applied, or decision-focused research. With expertise in program evaluation and community-based research, the Center collaborates with public and community organizations to conduct surveys, compile secondary data, lead focus groups and more. The Center's reports illuminate decisions for community stakeholders.
The Center obtains grant funding for scholarly research activities and faculty of the Center pursue scholarly research in a wide variety of areas, including environmental policy and planning, natural resource policy, regulatory policy, comparative politics, sustainability, program evaluation and nonprofit management.
