The Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement is staffed by experienced and engaged leaders and personnel, highly proficient in their unique areas. Personnel in each area are identified below. Directors develop programs, curriculum and mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations. Meagan provides leadership and strategic vision for the K-12 and Community Relations program area. After ten years teaching in the K-12 system, Meagan transitioned to UW-Green Bay in 2014 to lead the College Credit in High School program. As the Executive Director of K-12 and Community Relations, Meagan develops partnerships with educational organizations and schools as well as oversees programs including College Credit in High School, Early College Credit Program, Dual Enrollment Access Academy, GEAR UP, Turbocharge, and the Accelerated Associates Degree. In addition to her work with K-12 schools, Meagan creates innovative programs to meet the diverse needs of students of all ages.

Aubrey manages the GEAR UP services and educational programming offered through UW-Green Bay for GEAR UP students across the state. GEAR UP stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs and UW-Green Bay is the named college partner in the 7-year GEAR UP Grant for the State of Wisconsin, serving 2,500 6th-12th grade students in target school districts. Aubrey works to provide GEAR UP students with a vast array of unique educational and college/career exploration opportunities, including college credits, after-school programs, STEM events and summer camps.
Aubrey rejoined the Division after 20 years in various student services and leadership roles within the UW System, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and Green Bay Area Public Schools.

Stacy is an alumna of UW-Green Bay. She joined the UW-Green Bay Division of Continuing Education & Community Engagement in January of 2022. Prior to UW-GB she was a program director at a large non-profit early education center in Green Bay. She currently provides administrative support for the GEAR UP and Rising Phoenix programs.

Kaitlin supports the Rising Phoenix Early College High School Program. Rising Phoenix provides high school students access to college coursework, student success coaching and the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree while still in high school. Kaitlin brings experience in community outreach, program development and advising within the UW System in addition to K-12 instruction and coaching, in Spanish and English.

Adam Landenberger joined the K-12 and Community Relations team as a Student Success Coach for the GEAR UP Rising Phoenix Program in 2021. Prior to transitioning to his current role, Adam served as the admissions counselor for UW-Green Bay Marinette Campus for two years. He is thrilled to be servicing our GEAR UP Rising Phoenix students from across the state as they work on their Associate of Arts and Science Degree while in their junior and senior years of high school. Kayla Boguski earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2015. Prior to this position, she worked in the Admissions Office at UW-Green Bay where she served all age ranges of students through the recruitment cycle for over five years. Kayla currently serves as a Student Success Coach for the Rising Phoenix Early College High School Program at Mishicot and Two Rivers High School.

Angel joined the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in June of 2021. Prior to UW-GB, Angel worked at Saint Norbert College as an Area Coordinator. Angel has experience counseling K-12 students, and served college students as an academic advisor, supervisor, AODA counselor and coach. Angel currently serves as a Student Success Coach within the Rising Phoenix program and coaches Lincoln High School Students that are attending classes on the Manitowoc campus!

Patrick provides management of UW-Green Bay’s dual enrollment services including College Credit in High School (CCIHS), the Early College Credit Program (ECCP), and the Dual Enrollment Access Academy (The Academy). Prior to UW-Green Bay, Patrick worked at an area nonprofit in prevention education. He is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history in academic advising, accommodation services, Title IX, as well as equity, diversity, and inclusion programs and policies.

Crystal has fifteen years as a Sales Training Specialist which fueled her passion for training, development and education. Crystal currently serves as the Program Specialist providing services through the College Credit in High School program. She works with educators in over 70 high schools to offer courses that allow students to get a head start on their college education.

As the main contact point for students and School Counselors seeking enrollment for UW-Green Bay classes, she advises students, supports them through the application and enrollment process and serves as a student success resource by connecting students to resources at UW-Green Bay.

Annie joined the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2010. She has served as a Senior Academic Advisor prior to her transition to the Student and Community Relations Coordinator. Annie does program coordination for the Accelerated Associate degree and provides student support by evaluating prior learning, and providing student support and advising towards college and career pathways.

Jason joined the UW-Green Bay Division of Continuing Education & Community Engagement in February of 2017. He has worked in the UW System since 2008 when he started working in the Admissions Office at UW-Eau Claire. He has also worked in marketing and recruitment, as well as camps and conference management both at UW-Eau Claire and UW-Green Bay. Currently Jason manages UW-Green Bay Youth Programs, the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) and serves as a connection point for community partners. Jason is an alumnus of the Leadership Green Bay Class of 2019 and is a trained Safe Ally.

Andrea is an alumna of UW-Green Bay. Since 2008, Andrea has provided support for UW-Green Bay camps and youth programs. She has received certificates in Conflict Resolution and Mediation, Mental Health First Aid, and has a Level 2 certificate in Inclusivity and Equity. Andrea is a trained Safe Ally, and has completed both the Kognito Veterans Awareness training and Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention training.

Susan joined UW-Green Bay’s Lifelong Learning Institute in 2017. She spent 17 years at Fort Howard/Georgia Pacific Corp., where she held various positions, including eight years as a Business Analyst in IT. Susan currently serves as the Program Specialist for the Lifelong Learning Institute, which has over 1,000 members and offers over 200 courses each semester in Green Bay, Manitowoc, Marinette, Sheboygan and surrounding areas. Sue does program coordination and provides support for curriculum development for the four campus communities. She monitors the delivery of all in-person and online classes to assure success. She supports over 300 outstanding volunteers that make the Institute one of the best (and one of the best values) in the country.

Teri Zuege-Halvorsen earned her Master of Science Degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College and her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. She has worked in the UW System for over 15 years, first as an Associate Professor for Family Living with UW-Extension and since 2016 as the Area Director, Continuing Professional Education in the division. Teri develops educational programming for social workers and other health and human service professionals to meet licensure requirements, manages the continuing professional education staff on the main and branch campuses, establishes partnerships with community leaders and oversees the curriculum development of innovative continuing education programs that meet the needs of stakeholders, partners, students and community members on all four of the UW- Green Bay campuses.

Kerry Winkler is a UW-Green Bay alumna, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Humanistic Studies. Kerry previously worked at Bellin Hospital where she coordinated the Continuing Medical Education Program and obtained the highest form of accreditation for the CME program. In 2016, Kerry joined the Division as a program specialist. She manages the Wisconsin Caregiver Academy, developing train-the-trainer curriculum as well as creating other healthcare-related programing. Kerry has a passion for education and enjoys creating new and innovative programing.

Linda Hornick joined the Division as a Program Specialist in August of 2018 after working with the UW System since 2015. She is an alumna of UW-Marinette and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology from UW-Green Bay. She is currently a board member of InVenture North. She also serves on the Education & Workforce Development Committee with the Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce and the Peshtigo Career, Education and Community Expo Planning Group. Her responsibilities for engaging the community include developing professional educational opportunities for individuals and businesses, producing shows at the the Children’s Theatre and providing travel opportunities.

Judy Price is a UW-Green Bay alumna, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and Political Science, and a minor in Environmental Policy and Planning. In January 2020, Judy joined the division as a Business Development Specialist, providing professional development and education opportunities for employers in Brown, Door, Outagamie, Calumet, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan counties. Previously, she worked for almost twelve years in corporate training at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, and has great passion for helping business and industry grow through training and education.

Margie Reichwald is the Director of the Wisconsin CBRF Training Registry at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She provides progressive leadership for all facets of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services CBRF Training Registry Project. She has over 20 years of leadership and development experience working in the health care industry. Margie has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and is currently working on a Master’s of Arts in Applied Professional Studies. Margie continues to cultivate relations with the Department of Health Services and other statewide agencies for collaborative projects and opportunities.

Laura Nolan is a program specialist for the Wisconsin CBRF Training Registry She has a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and has worked in the health care field for 25 years, with 18 years of multi-facility management. Laura has used her experience to develop assisted living curriculum and as a seminar speaker. Her passion for the elderly and people with dementia is evidenced by her involvement in the Brown County Dementia Friendly Coalition. As an active member of the coalition, Laura helps train businesses to be dementia friendly through the Purple Angel Program.

Debi was a middle and high school Spanish and English teacher for fourteen years, has experience working in the private sector in customer care and as in sales support, and has volunteered and worked for non-profit organizations in Brown County. Kassie VanRemortel earned a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Graceland University. She has worked for the private sector in various roles, including accounting, purchasing and HR. Kassie started working in higher education for Indian Hills Community College in 1986 as a Displaced Homemaker counselor and later Graceland University as Assistant Dean of Admissions. In 2001 she joined UW-Green Bay as Director of Government Affairs and Economic Development.

At UW-Green Bay, she participated in the National Student Exchange program where she studied Spanish at the University of Puerto Rico - Cayey. Ericka has been working as the University Services Program Associate for Government Affairs since December of 2017 where she assists in putting together trainings for local government officials throughout the state of Wisconsin.
