Cake Decorating

Interested in cake decorating and looking to improve your skills? Now’s your chance! Learn how to stack, frost and decorate cakes and cupcakes in this two-night class. The first class will be all about frosting. Learn how to make Marissa’s popular frosting, and the techniques of frosting cakes and cupcakes. In the second class, participants will put those skills to the test when they frost their cake/cupcakes. You will also learn how to make decorations and will leave with a finished product.
Participants will be required to bring an unfrosted 8-inch cake, or 12 unfrosted cupcakes to the second class.

Smart Ways to Use Your Smartphone for Professional Productivity

Our handheld devices are such an important part of our lives. Come to this informative session to pick up tips and tricks for getting the most out of your IOS (Apple) or Android phone or tablet for work or play. Understand everything from the basic use of your smartphone or tablet to tips on social media, privacy, and security and professional networking tools. Participants will need to bring their own device.

American Sign Language

Do you work with students, patients, or clients who communicate by using sign language? Then this is the class for you! This American Sign Language (ASL) class is open to those who are just getting started or who have a basic understanding of American Sign Language. Participants will learn how to communicate by emphasizing conversation and are required to purchase The American Sign Language Phrase Book by Lou and Barbara Bernstein Fant, which will serve as the course textbook.

Let's Speak Italian

Language classes provide an opportunity to grow, build a resume, network, and gain more job opportunities. This course will be a standard beginner's language class. The first part of the class will cover fundamental grammar and language. The second part of the class will cover specific daily situations and will cover reading and oral communication. Class will also provide 1:1 conversations.
