Amulya Gurtu is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business in the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He received his Ph.D. from Ryerson University, Toronto (Canada) and an M.B.A.from Western University, London (Canada).

Dr. Gurtu teaches supply chain management and logistics management courses. His research interests include optimizing supply chains, global operations and offshore outsourcing while minimizing its impacts on the environment. His research is targeted toward optimization of supply chains and global operations, while including triple bottom line of sustainability (economics, environmental and social sustainability) for corporate organizations. He has published his research in International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Transportation Journal, Services Marketing Quarterly, Operations and Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Inventory Research, International Journal of Nonprofit & Voluntary Sector Marketing, Journal of Cleaner Production, Management Research Review, Journal of Environment & Development, Sustainable Production and Consumption, and Applied Mathematical Modeling.
